Who are we?
We are a publishing company focused on creating ‘really useful’ educational posters to assist people of all ages and learning capabilities.
How was the idea born?
The Really Useful Poster Company was founded by a piano novice/aspiring musician who wanted a better way to display essential piano theory in front of his keyboard. Out of that need, the company’s first poster (The Really Useful Piano Poster) was born. Launched on Kickstarter in March 2018 the poster was very well received, raising £5,554 during its 28-day campaign.
Since then we’ve successfully launched 2 more posters via Kickstarter and helped thousands of people to learn musical instruments and more.
What comes next?
Although our roots are firmly grounded in Music, we want to expand our selection of posters to encompass any subject we feel we can create an informative, educational and ‘really useful’ poster for. We will continue to expand on our selection of musical posters, but for us the sky's the limit!
We are located in Bristol (England) and we’re currently looking for international distributors to help us reach more people and schools around the world. We are also currently looking to expand into more retail stores in the U.K.
Our mission is to create a new standard in educational posters that engage people of all levels, and that are genuinely really useful.
Our goal is to ensure that our Really Useful Posters are adopted into the homes, schools and universities of those who need them. We have developed a quick and easy approach to help students learn faster while having more fun, using a touch of simple design, a lot of research, and collaborative feedback from various students and teachers all over the world.
